It's funny because it's true
Feb. 4th, 2005 08:32 amToday's "Get Fuzzy" cartoon:

Speaking of the truth, I watched Tony Robinson's programme on C4 last night about the Da Vinci code; or, more specifically, about how Dan Brown's claims that there is such a thing as the Priory of Sion and so on are a steaming pile of pants. His interviews with one of the authors of Holy Blood Holy Grail was howlingly funny.
A summary - the Gnostic gospels (found in the Dead Sea Scrolls) revealed that Mary Magdelene's role as a disciple was indeed suppressed by the early Church. This much is probably true. None of the rest of it is.
Har har har, de har.
Ahem.
