We have space!

The impending visit of family acts as a terrific spur to house cleaning and sorting.

Other than the spare room, which is basically used as storage anyway, our house now looks as immaculate as it can be without being redecorated. And about twice as big. I'm glad we had a three-day weekend to finish it all off. My back is still twingy, but not as bad as I expected it to be after wielding the Dyson and shifting stuff. It started to give sharp warning pains last night, but a quick series of stretches put a stop to that.

The weekend was punctuated by a pleasant Saturday evening at songofnewday's place, drinking wine, playing Mah Jongg, chatting and watching an episode of The Goodies.

Unfortunately, my root-filled tooth - a casualty of some crappy dental work I had done some years ago - has broken. Most of what is left is the filling itself. Time to give the competent dentist a call and get it sorted. Luckily for me, I'm on Denplan.
