Another year . . .

Well, it's my birthday today.

It hasn't been brilliant so far. There are now only 6 of us going out for a meal tomorrow night, and I'm yet to be convinced that it won't shrink further. The cake I made last night was a disaster. A few other things have also pissed me off today.

However, I was surprised and very pleased when a colleague remembered my birthday and left a Little Britain card on my desk this morning. I'm currently sporting a "Yeah but no but" badge. Also, it's the weekend, so I'm hoping a couple of extra days somewhere other than this place will lift my mood again.
