The weekend thus far

1. Negotiated a fair deal on the new riser and arrows, and paid a deposit for the riser. They're keeping it at the shop for the moment, but it has a lovely "Sold" sticker on it. Bwa ha. I will post pics when I can.
2. Made a chicken casserole with a sauce based on a simple roux. There was a brief bit of flapping when the first roux utterly failed to work, but it was all okay in the end.
3. Learned that when one makes a cup of peppermint tea, one should not stir it with the teaspoon one used to measure the tarragon out into the chicken stock for the casserole. Yeurgh.
