Something in my back has gone a bit funny, and now I'm getting pain around all parts of my right shoulder girdle, even as far round as the right side of my sternum. I've no idea what caused it - couldn't be archery, because I didn't shoot over the weekend. Ow.
I was momentarily cheered, however, when my mother-in-law (the English Professor) mailed me last night about the short story I sent over for her to look at. She particularly praised the dialogue, which is surprising as I hate trying to write dialogue more than anything else, probably because I'm so critical of it as a reader. So I usually agonise over it for ages and more often than not if I take a break from writing a short story (a fatal error, in some instances) it's when I'm struggling with dialogue.
Anyway, back to the grindstone. This website I was involved with getting off the ground is going live today. There's a launch event and everything. Suffice it to say I'm very glad my involvement is now minimal.
