What has LRP done for you?
Nov. 8th, 2006 01:15 pmOver the last couple of weeks several people (including comparative strangers) have said how confident I seem/sound/come across. I, being a bundle of insecurities loosely held together by good will and habit, find this somewhat perplexing. After giving it some thought I've realised that LRP has played quite a big part in this. I've come to understand that at least 90% of confidence is faking it, or acting if you prefer, and you can get away with it in nearly all circumstances. I've had to play a handful of roles at LRP that have required confidence - Baron Antoine, Brother Guiseppe (both LT) and one of my own creation, William in PD - and the impact this has had on the rest of my life has been very significant.
So, I'm just curious to know, what has LRP done for you? And don't just say "Escapism" or something similar, as we all get that from it.
