Got my mojo back
Feb. 1st, 2007 09:15 pmIf I can call it that.
After a short break from shooting to allow a cut on my finger to heal I found I was a bit all over the place. However, tonight at the Lichfield club everything clicked into place and I started shooting tight groups again. Barebow shooting is fascinating, and in my opinion is even more of a discipline/mental skill than shooting with a sight and all the gubbins. The feedback you get from a shot, good or bad, is certainly much more intense.
In other news, looks like a weekend in Stafford. I'll be heading up to Kibblestone on Saturday afternoon to crew for the Wolves for a one-day event, however. Should be a giggle.
COURSE CORRECTION - forgot about the social evening with my old archery club on Saturday night. Heading off to Malvern instead I suppose.
