The slippery slope to emo-dom
May. 4th, 2007 12:17 pmMy goodness. This is turning into a right "emo LJ".
This morning was looking better and brighter than yesterday, but then I found a dent in my car door probably caused by some moron in a car park at some point over the last few weeks. £80 + VAT estimated repair, making £130 plus VAT including the cost of repairing the scraped alloy (that one was my fault).
And now I find the tendon on the inside of my right leg is a bit tauter than your average bow string. I traced down the leg to the knee and found the attachment is the very place I whacked when I fell over at the ceilidh. And here's me without a 1) massage device, 2) elephant or 3) dusky doe-eyed maiden with thumbs that can crack walnuts to pound it into submission.
I know what’s going to happen this weekend. I’ll be limping around the woods, I'll balance precariously to take a tricky shot, fall over and shoot a passing nun.
Leaving soon for Essex. Hope everyone has a good weekend, free of whacked cars, knees and nuns.
