"Try to rest it, and take painkillers..."
May. 9th, 2007 06:08 pmWell, in fairness, an anti-inflammatory gel instead, which the chemist didn't have any of so I have to go back tomorrow. No jabs for the brush with thorns either - just some antibacterial stuff.
In other news, archery went very well last night. I decided to shoot at short distances (40 and 30 yards) and to focus on a smooth flowing shot rather than worrying about fine aiming. It went very well, with a ridiculous number of golds. I also monkeyed around with my hand position a bit, and I think I've found an answer to my occasional problem of whacking my forearm just above the armguard with the string. Although when I do that, I nearly always hit the centre. :-)
