Splendid weekend, and typically sleep deprived.
The new house is tiny, but the plans for extending it proceed apace. All that's needed is for my family to find the lease on a pub with a house so they can move in while their house is rebuilt.
My second brother is still great, although despite four car accidents (all his fault) retains a worrying tendency to drive less than a car length behind cars that aren't going fast enough according to him. "My reaction times are fast enough!" he claims. I hope it doesn't take a fifth accident to wake him the fuck up.
Gaucho's steak house is amazing. Specially brewed wheat beer, excellent service and succulent steak. These people know how to cook a steak well done, and yet leave it juicy. I might have had a little too much to drink, but was almost sober by the time we got home because Mum and Dad's out-of-date TomTom took us on a tour of London on our way home, taking in Harrods and Marble Arch.
Train journey both ways was quick and nutter free (although there was almost a punch up in the train I got from Epsom to Victoria). However, thanks to the flimsy cup, my much-looked-forward-to Starbucks coffee ended up on the floor of the Pendolino train rather than in me. Sigh.
