Important twanging
Sep. 12th, 2007 06:39 pmTo me, that is.
This weekend is the National Field Archery Society champs in Usk, South Wales. It will be my first NFAS Champs, hopefully the first of many, and I'm looking forward to getting out and round a course again. By all accounts it will be quite challenging, but should be fun too.
Last night at the club it wasn't going very well at all. So today after work I nipped up the road to the archery shop in Cannock to use their indoor range. I spent the first couple of ends sorting out what I thought the problem was, and then started slamming arrows in the gold, even the inner ten ring, with ease. Hurrah.
So weather permitting, I shall work on the same thing tomorrow at the outdoor club field, do an equipment check (oooer) and pack in the evening, and then head off after work on Friday. Wish me luck :-)
