And the week continues to go quite well...

- Just had a very productive and rather fun meeting. I like working here :-)

- The tooth that has been a constant pain for two years is finally root-filled and dead. I feel like I've been hit with a baseball bat, but I can at least eat hot and cold things without wincing.

- The consultant has cleared me for an upper-body exercise programme, to be discussed with my physio tonight. One step closer to picking up that bow again.

- Jenny found a car. I don't think it's ideal, but it's what she wants and it's her money. It's a 3-door Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi, which should return around 55mpg according to the figures. 50k on the clock and £3k. This gives her cash left over (from a parental gift) to start a savings account.

Time to hit the gym

Well, I have some more exercises from the physio. It looks like my new technique for drawing my bow probably will work, although it will take a lot of practice to become ingrained. A lot of very boring practice shirtless, in front of a mirror with a cliniband. Yes, it sounds dodgy. Innuendo away, my dear friends.

I've also been told it's okay to start using the upper body machines at the gym, on very light weights of course. So, here's hoping that by the time next summer rolls around I'll be the leanest and fittest I've ever been. It's a goal, anyway :-)
