Insomnia (see the opening lines), together with my rediscovering of my desire to learn some of my favourite songs brings you this one from Josh Ritter. I've been up and about since 3ish, so I've been trying out the chords. It reads like a sad song but is sung cheerfully. He's clever like that. Enjoy :-)

I wouldn't normally share something like this...

...but it's too funny not to.

The time: between 2 and 4am on Saturday morning.
The place: Toni's kitchen.
The cause: Ten-year old Jura single malt whisky.

Me: "How could I possibly be dashing with this hairline?"
Toni: "You're so tall the women can't tell!"

This was the funniest thing in the world. I think it still bears repeating in the cold light of day :-)

Shonky net connection

I has it.

It objects when I do stuff that requires high-volume download, like run Spotify, use Youtube, send email, browse normal web pages. However, what really kills it are Chat applications. WTF? I blame the router. It appears to be made of suck.

So I'm not ignoring everyone. Well, I am a little. I have stuff to do - chicken sandwich for supper, followed by ironing and then an early night. And then, with any luck, sleep.
