What was going to be a relaxing weekend was pretty much spoiled by more pain in my lower back. Not as bad as before, but still not pleasant. It's still there too. I'll have to bite the bullet and call the massage therapist. Yet more money, and I won't get anything from the insurance company until I've fully recovered. @rse.
This morning I've been to see the doctor employed by the insurance company's solicitors to assess my injuries from the accident. This consisted of an absolutely minimal physical exam ("Can you move your head? Yes. Can you bend over and touch your toes? No.") and being rushed through a questionnaire. I imagine he made a huge sum of money for that. Oh well.
Braved the pain to watch Pride and Prejudice:
( not really spoilers, but still )
I've also worked out what it is about Keira Knightley that makes me go a bit weak at the knees: her enormous brown eyes. Mind you, Rosamund Pike (who played Jane) is also rather lovely, and it was good to see her in a role that actually stretched her acting skills, unlike the execrable "Die Another Day".
