Another good stuff, bad stuff update
Oct. 7th, 2005 10:23 amGood stuff:
Bowen technique is weird, but seems to have resolved most of the pain in my lower back after only one session. I have another one booked for next week, the night before the Harts' event.
Shooting with these lighter bow limbs is much easier and is teaching me a great deal about repetitive and consistent technique. I'm quite hopeful about the indoor season.
Bad stuff:
The massage therapist who does Bowen technique banned me from drinking anything stronger than two weak cups of tea a day. So far I've managed to resist the temptation of more caffeine, but I suspect if I go to Worcester on Saturday I will weaken and indulge myself in Coffee Republic.
The throat (or more accurately tracheal) infection Jen has has moved on to me. So far I am fighting it off by bolstering my immune system with lots of water and echinacea, and suppressing symptoms with sudofed, paracetamol and substandard throat lozenges. It's not bad enough to keep me away from work, which is just as well as I have urgent stuff wot needs doing.
bash.org seems to be down.
And that's about it really.
