Vaguely productive
Nov. 1st, 2005 10:08 amI reviewed half of the dissertation my colleague wrote (it took 7 hours, so I think my estimate of 15 was about right) on Sunday, and managed to also polish off the latest Harry Potter book last night (I shall do a quick review in another entry, hidden behind a cut for the sake of those who haven't read it). However, I haven't made any sort of plan for attacking NaNoWriMo, so I think I'm on the path to NaNoWriMoDefSuc, or whatever it's called :-)
The car is showing signs of the old problems returning, so I am keeping a log (below, behind cut, just in case anyone reads it and has a bright idea about what might be the problem). I think it's only fair to give it a good test for a week. Then I'll contact the garage, give them the info and say that as this problem isn't going away, I think we should have one more go at getting it sorted and then call it a day. That'll send a pretty clear message that I want my money back if they can't sort out the problems.
