It's the end of the week as we know it
Jul. 3rd, 2009 07:57 amNot suffered in the heat at all really, although Jenny nearly fainted when she saw I'd dug out my shorts from the bottom draw the other day.
Work is still good, but also frustrating as I'm currently waiting in several people to actually give me things to do.
We had a bit of a scare yesterday when an envelope containing white powder burst in the mail room. Turned out to be harmless, but disrupted everything for a few hours.
On Saturday we should be walking a mile or so to the village fĂȘte, having a pint or two and then wandering slightly less steadily home.
My shoulder is 90% better, with only a few clunks and twinges. I should be fine to nip up to Chester on Sunday for another all day competition. I can't wait :-)
Oh, movie review time:
Red Cliff - Meh. John Woo has no idea how to use slo-mo. He's like a teenager with a camera at times.
Blood - pretty, entertaining, some crap CGI. Continuity team needs shooting.
