This weekend, I...

• Spent Friday evening with Jen, Russ and Douglas, setting the world to rights.


• Attended Master Frederick HYPNOBABY Smart's First Birthday Party, where there was cake, good company, and lots of babies.


• Went to a fantastic restaurant to celebrate Russ' 40th.


• Spent time with Dave2, Emma C and Chris C, and met some lovely new people.


• Set the world to rights some more, ably assisted by Laphroaig.


• Played lots of slide guitar, and even sang along at times, until a string snapped.


• Sang with Emma and Jen while making Sunday morning breakfast. And didn't suck.


• Went to Lauren's birthday, which was lots of fun and very relaxing. And I came away with home-baked bread.


• Was very kindly invited to join a 7th Sea game by Paul and Olga.


• Have been cajoled into visiting Durham next weekend. Hurrah!

I have come home to a supper of toast (made with Lauren's bread) and a wee dram of Balvenie. I am shattered and run-down, but am very chilled out and very happy. I am a very lucky chap to have such good friends.
