Things you learn when you're at home

We have a squirrel in the back garden, which launches guerilla raids on the food I throw out for the birds.

The postman never delivers before 11am.

One should be careful not to absent-mindedly flick on the TV when doing technical stuff with archery gear. One may be so distracted that it will be several minutes before you realise that Germaine Greer is not appearing in some sort of daytime arts review programme on Channel 4, but is in fact on Celebrity Big Brother.

My cerebral cortex is sprained. Ouch.

McCrirrick said on the way in that he hoped he wouldn't get some ghastly feminist like Germaine Greer. Preesumably the latter is using it as an experiment.
I suspect Greer and Caprice will get on better than Greer and Brigitte Nielsen.
Not that I'll be watching.

I didn't watch it, I seem to have some kind of allergy towards reality TV, or maybe it's the tiny part of my intellect remaining refusing to bow to the great God of cheap programming!

I was shocked, too. I wouldn't class myself as a feminist (mainly on the grounds that women trying to prove themselves to be better than men by trying to be men seems a complete oxymoron), but I am a big fan of Germaine Greer's writing. She must have been using it as an experiment.
