Yay! I think
Nov. 7th, 2006 01:11 pmI believe my Dad completed the New York Marathon in 4:53:42, about 8 minutes faster than his younger brother. I say I believe, because I haven't heard from them since the race and the only person with his name is listed as being a US citizen. Still, I'm pretty confident that's a mix up.
This to me is amazing, speaking as a person who has trouble running a bath.
Other stuff - still very much up and down mood-wise, but I'm trying to find things to fill my evenings with that aren't websurfing, watching TV and reading. Several people have suggested Salsa classes, but I'm filled with horror at the idea of the headlines the following day: "Tall git tramples salsa class, dozens injured."
Work continues to be ... okay. I occasionally look at what I'm doing and wonder whether I really believe it's the right career path for me any more. Perhaps I need to do something else related to writing. Suggestions welcome.
